    Fabulous

From the moment I walked into the bar to register my arrival I was greeted with the most freindly welcome. All the staff were polite and helpfull. My room was clean & comfortable but a little bit cramped for space, (small price to pay for its charm) The food and service in the Resteraunt was excellent.

Lovely building located in the centre of Faversham - excellent breakfast

    Very good

Very friendly staff. Quiet, but perhaps that was because we hadn't booked over a weekend. Very good food with a good choice of dinner menu.

    Uncomfortable bed

We only stayed one night but were made as welcome as if we were staying for longer. Very good position, not noisy. Restaurant and pub good.

    Fabulous

Very enjoyable weekend. Staff were very friendly The room was very clean and comfortable. As a bonus the restaurant was very good and the food was excellent. Would definitely stay again.

The nearest car park is just behind the hotel but it is only free from 6:00pm until 8:00am.

    Good

The hotel was central and as we were travelling with cycles the hotel staff very helpful and stored our bikes in a secure lock up until we needed them.

The decor is getting a bit tired in the room and I even noticed staining on my bed valance which was a bit off putting. Our twin room no. 8 did look out over the beer garden which may deter some people booking this room as it was quite noisy until about 11.30 pm although we did not return to the room until late ourselves but this may put some people off booking this room in future if they are after a bit of peace and quiet. The breakfast was a bit overdone on the first morning with the bacon a bit tough, hash brown dried out and the fried egg had a solid yolk..!! The second day was better however. This is an ideal place if you are just looking for a central positioned b&b and was adequate for the purpose of our visit.

    Fabulous

Location - in the heart of the town on a pretty pedestianised street - and ambience - pub and restaurant in an attractive and well-restored old building with a really quirky layout. Efficient and friendly service and excellent food.

Had asked for a double, so was surprised on arrival to be offered a twin (and not good) room. However, we were moved to a much better (though still twin) room for the following two nights.

    Superb

The real ale, from the Shepherd Neame Brewery is fantastically kept. I had Early bird. it was fantastic. V cosy place. quiet. food is fine and the staff a v nice, helpful but not in your face!

I am a bit fanatical but did notice dust on the air conditioner, drinks tray and a stain on the latter too. the carpet looked as if it had been hoovered by a piece of equipment that was past it. Once I had got my wet wipes out all was well. the bathroom was clean

    Fabulous

Good value, friendly staff, great location and good food.

The room could do with more refurbishment, the carpet etc. but overall a positive experience.

    Exceptional

A lovely place to stay, we had a huge bedroom and a hot, powerful shower. Central within Faversham and ideal for visting the Shepherd Neame brewery (which we highly recommend). The staff were really friendly and helpful, breakfast good and the overall relaxed ambience was exactly what we were looking for. The food in the pub restaurant is amazing, dont miss out!

Others mentioned lack of reception & noise from bar etc but this is not a hotel, it is a working pub with rooms, and as long as you expect this you will enjoy it as much as we did!

    Very good

Everyone was very friendly and the food very good (even for the 'awkward' vegetarian!) A comfortable room in a beautiful building in a quiet, central location.

    Fabulous

The hotel is a quaint old coaching inn that offers a friendly service with good quality rooms and a lovely breakfast

Only downside was that being 6'2'' i was unable to have a shower through a combination of a low ceilibng and a raised bath.
